Swedbank recruits new economist

Swedbank’s Economic Research Department has recruited Magnus Alvesson as senior economist. Magnus Alvesson is currently at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) European Division in Washington, where he works with program negotiations, forecasting and economic analysis mainly in respect of emerging economies. He has a degree in economics from Gothenburg University.

He takes up his new position on 1 February 2009.
