Swedbank Robur named best fund manager in the Nordic region

For the second consecutive year, Swedbank Robur has been named the best fund manager in the Nordic region by the international analyst firm Lipper. At yesterday’s awards ceremony, Swedbank Robur received a total of eight awards, two for the best fund company and six for individual funds.

“We’re delighted to be able to offer our clients funds that have received top rankings by both Swedish and international players. That we have now been named the best fund manager in the Nordic region for the second consecutive year is proof that our management model is successful,” says Mats Lagerqvist, President of Swedbank Robur.

The fund company awards received by Swedbank Robur were the “Best Fund Group over Three Years, Mixed Assets Group – Large” and “Best Fund Group over Three Years, Overall Group – Large.”

Swedbank Robur Euro Räntefond (fixed income fund), Mixfond MEGA (mixed fund), Norrmix, Privatiseringsfond (privatization fund), Småbolagsfond Sweden (Swedish small cap fund) and Svensk Aktieportfölj (Swedish equity portfolio) were the funds that were best in their particular category.

Earlier this year, Swedbank Robur was also named “Fund Manager of the Year” by Morningstar and Dagens Industri for the “strong fund performance in 2007.”
