Sweden's largest investors (tier 1) ranked Swedbank's Large & Institutions (LC&I) as the country's best in credit products and credit research, in Prospera's annual survey.

The credit product survey is based on interviews with sixty portfolio managers, covering criteria such as personal approach and contact, research, ethics, pricing and product range. Swedbank stands out as a particularly clear leader in credit research in terms of individual issuance as well as strategy, areas that the portfolio managers consider increasingly important.

"I am very pleased and proud of this ranking that is based directly on the portfolio managers' own opinions. Our work is focused on developing our credit research and increased client focus is a very important factor. Our clients play a significant role in society and as their strategic advisors we have an important function in helping them to make long-term, sound investment decisions and develop strategies for sustainable growth. This is clearly proof that this work has produced results, at the same time encouraging us to raise the bar even more", said Andreas Zsiga, Head of credit research at LC&I.

In the high yield segment of the survey, where twenty leading portfolio managers took part, LC&I was ranked overall second, but even here distinguishes itself as best in credit research, pricing and professionalism. Within this area, LC&I has led issues during the year for Klövern, Fastpartner, Akelius Fastigheter and Arise Windpower.
