Thomas Backteman appointed Senior Vice President Group Corporate Communications

Swedbank has decided to appoint Thomas Backteman as Senior Vice President Group Corporate Communication in connection with Michael Wolf’s commencement as CEO on March 1st, 2009. Thomas has held the position of temporary Head of Communications as consultant since November 2008.

”I have during the short time that we have worked together gotten to know Thomas as a very skilled communicator and I look forward to continue our collaboration after March 1st” says Michael Wolf the future CEO of Swedbank.

Thomas Backteman has previously held the positions such as partner with Brunswick Group, Senior partner at Hallvarsson & Halvarsson and Senior Vice President Corporate Communications and IR at Studsvik AB.
