SLP takes ownership of two logistics properties with a lettable area of 35,500 square meters
SLP announced earlier in December that it had signed an agreement to acquire two logistics properties located in Hallsberg and Nässjö. The transaction was conditional on the Swedish Strategic Products Inspectorate having made a decision to approve or leave the investment made through the acquisition without action, which is now complete. Access has been completed today.
The deal has taken place through a so-called "sale and leaseback transaction" with PostNord AB. The rental agreements, which are fully indexed, run for 7 years with an annual rental value of just over SEK 33 million. Both properties have building rights for future expansion.
"We are very satisfied with the acquisition of two strategically located and fully leased properties from PostNord. The properties, which are both located along important railway routes, are positioned to play an important role in the future of sustainable freight transport," says Tommy Åstrand, CEO of SLP.
The agreed property value amounts to approximately SEK 470 million. The properties are acquired via corporate transactions and are financed with own funds.
