Mikael Börjesson of Swegon elected President of Eurovent
Swegon announces that Mikael Börjesson has been elected President of Eurovent, the European Industry Association for Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVACR).
Eurovent represents more than 100 member companies and 17 local associations around Europe. The association also represents over 1,000 companies indirectly and serves as the voice of the HVACR industry in the development of European legislation and policy.
As President, Mikael Börjesson will chair Eurovent’s Board and General Assembly and represent the organisation in its engagement with policymakers and industry stakeholders across Europe.
“I am honoured to take on the role of President of Eurovent. The association plays an important role in shaping the regulatory framework for our industry, and I look forward to working together with members to promote healthy indoor environments and support the transition to more energy-efficient and sustainable solutions,” says Mikael Börjesson.
In addition to its policy work, Eurovent operates certification and market intelligence programmes that support quality assurance and provide market insights for the industry.
