Swegon will introduce its forward-looking vision for “Future-proof indoor climate” at MCE 2026 – Mostra Convegno Expocomfort, one of the world’s leading exhibitions for energy and indoor climate solutions. The event, themed “Energy is evolving”, brings together designers, installers and innovators committed to advancing sustainable and intelligent building technologies.

At MCE 2026, Swegon will highlight a strategic perspective on how buildings can be prepared for these future demands. The company’s “Future-proof indoor climate” approach is designed to support both regulatory readiness and the growing expectations for healthier, more efficient and flexible buildings. By combining advanced climate solutions with intelligent control strategies, connected monitoring and adaptive system design, Swegon aims to help customers achieve long-term performance that meets evolving requirements.

The rollout of the EU’s Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) is accelerating this shift, emphasising the need for higher energy efficiency requirements while also ensuring that improvements are not made at the expense of indoor environmental quality. This creates a new baseline for how buildings, and the systems within them, must perform in the years ahead.

“Our ambition is to show how a complete indoor climate approach can be sustainable, resilient and fully prepared for the regulatory landscape that lies ahead. We want to help customers create indoor environments that deliver enduring value and remain compliant as expectations and standards continue to rise,” says Luca Zordan, Managing Director Swegon Italy.

Visitors to MCE 2026 are invited to experience Swegon’s vision firsthand at Stand M01 N10 in Hall 11.
