CALL ME BACK LAUNCHED IN RECORD TIME AT QTEL
Symsoft assisted Qtel to launch the "Call Me Back" service in record time in Qatar. The service allows Qtel´s customers to send a "Call Me Back" short message, regardless of their existing balance.
The service is very simple to use. To invoke a "Call Me Back" message a Qtel user just dials *103*, followed by the mobile number of the person that they would like to contact e.g. *103*1234567#. An SMS is sent to the recipient inviting the person in question to call his/her friend back.
The Call Me service is a part of the Nobill USSD portfolio built on the modern and very flexible IN-based Nobill Platform. The platform provides the architectural foundation for modularity and scalability creating cost-efficient systems. The Call Me service is integrated in the network using SIGTRAN ("SS7 over IP") to provide a robust architecture and efficient use of network resources.
