Stockholm, Sweden – June 10, 2008: Today telecommunications provider Qtel in Qatar brings the "Call Back Roaming" service live. Through Call Back Roaming, Qtel’s customers can send & receive SMS as well as make & receive calls when they are roaming.

The service is launched under the name “Hala Call Back Roaming” and provides Qtel´s prepaid customers with the ability to call from anywhere in the world granting them the freedom to use their mobile from any country where Qtel has an agreement with the local mobile provider. The service is easily accessed by entering a prefix before the phone number to initiate a call (*101*mobile number#).

The Call Back Roaming service is a part of the Nobill USSD portfolio built on the modern and very flexible IN-based Nobill Platform. The platform provides the architectural foundation for modularity and scalability creating cost-efficient systems. The Call Back Roaming service is integrated in the network using SIGTRAN ("SS7 over IP") to provide a robust architecture and efficient use of network resources.

"Qtel has an aggressive time table, introducing several revenue-generating services based on Nobill USSD platform. The Call Me service, launched few months ago, has quickly become a great success. We now look forward to continuing our collaboration implementing the Collect Call service", says Rami Nihlawi, Technical Account Manager at Symsoft MEA.
