Symsoft appoints new CEO

Symsoft appoints a new CEO, Mr. Patrik Philipsson 42 years old, with long experience from the computer industry. His latest employment was with StorageTek, where he was Country Manager for Sweden. Patrik will take up his duties as CEO for Symsoft the 1st of July 2006.

“I think this is an exciting task and I feel a great commitment. The market for mobile applications and net products has a positive trend and Symsoft has been very successful. The future looks bright. The company strives to become a leading supplier of Service Layer products to telecom operators”, says Patrik Philipsson.

To strengthen Symsoft’s capacity to be able to deliver even more to a larger customer base, Symsoft’s current CEO Mr. Thomas Axelsson has chosen to step aside and instead proposed the company to find a new CEO.

”It is of greatest importance that the company will reach its business objectives in the future. To reach these, a CEO with a different profile and experience is required than what I have myself. I have personally been active in the process of finding a new CEO for Symsoft”, says Thomas Axelsson. Thomas Axelsson takes on the role as COO, Cheif Operations Officer.

”The new constellation implies a step in the right direction for Symsoft. Patrik Philipsson will strengthen Symsoft in its external relations”, says Kurt Hellström Chairman of the Board at Symsoft AB.
