Systemair acquires energy engineering company in Germany

Systemair (NASDAQ OMX Stockholm: SYSR) has signed an agreement to acquire Lautner Energiespartechnik GmbH in Helmstadt, Germany.

The company was founded in 1991 and specializes in the manufacture of high efficiency rotary heat exchangers for air handling units and data center cooling. The company has 17 employees and an estimated turnover of approximately EUR 2 million.

"This is a strategic acquisition for us. Lautner has unique expertise in the development and production of high efficiency rotors. This is a perfect supplement that strengthens us in the important air handling unit business area," says Systemair CEO Gerald Engström.
