Systemair received an order to Delhi airport
The ventilation company Systemair received a large order for Terminal 3 that is
under construction at Delhi Indira Gandhi International airport. The order
includes different types of fans to a value of approx. 470,000 EUR.
The fans are delivered from Systemair's production plants in Sweden, Germany,
Slovenia and Singapore. Some products will be assembled at Systemair India's new
premises in Alwar, that was inaugurated in February this year.
- This is a breakthrough for us on the Indian market, says Svein Nilsen, vice
president sales & marketing in Systemair. - Our broad product range has made it
possible for us to get the project. The order value will probably increase as we
have also received additional inquiries for fans.
With the construction of Terminal 3, Delhi's airport will be one of the largest
in Asia. The terminal will have 75 gate bridges and 160 check-in counters.
Inauguration is estimated to take place in March 2010.
