Systemair acquires Slovak company IMOS

The ventilation company Systemair has acquired the Slovak company IMOS, a leading producer of air terminal devices and fire dampers. The acquisition gives Systemair a wider product range and increased market shares, mainly in Eastern Europe. Imos, situated south of Bratislava, has 150 employees and a turnover of 80 MSEK. The company´s export share is 65 % and Imos is the market leader in ATD and fire dampers in the Slovak and Czech markets. Imos will continue its production as before and will consequently also become the Systemair production unit for Air Terminal Devices and Dampers. The company was started 15 years ago by five part owners. Now, Systemair acquires 80 %, Mr. Peter Havlovic keeps 20 % and stays in his position as Managing Director.

The company has a strong potential and with this acquisition we can strengthen our positions, mainly on the Eastern European markets.
