10th mobile operator soon live with Mobical™ Backup & Restore from Tactel

Tactel AB, the leading Swedish telecoms software engineering firm, today announced the 10th mobile operator customer world wide will soon be going live with an over-the-air backup & restore service based on Tactel’s Mobical™ platform.

Mobical™ is a fully fledged end-to-end turn-key solution that allows network operators and online service providers to offer their consumers a convenient and easy-to-use service for safely backing-up personal data stored on mobile phones over the network. It also allows the data, including address book entries, calendar events and notes to be synchronized over multiple mobile phones and Microsoft based computers, supporting the vision of a converged network where consumers can access their data and applications everywhere, anytime and via any device.
