TagMaster Launches New reader System Software release 1.6.1, called Ease of Use – Cloning, at ASIS trade show in Los Angeles

Stockholm, Sweden, Sept 14th 2009 - TagMaster, a global leader in high performance long-range RFID solutions for Automatic Vehicle Identification (AVI), Transportation and Access Control Applications, launches the new reader System Software release (SSW) 1.6.1, named Ease of Use - Cloning. The TagMaster focus is to facilitate an improved Life Cycle Cost for AVI installations. This SSW release contains support for volume installation of readers in an efficient way – a method called Cloning. Cloning will assist our partners in their configuration of new readers by automatically duplicate a configuration to the next reader using a USB stick attached to the readers. The Cloning functionality in the Long Range-reader generates a configuration script that is downloaded to a USB stick attached to the reader. This script can then be used to configure the next reader automatically, reusing the already made configuration. This means that you can configure a number of readers in a more efficient way. You can also store previously made configurations until the next time you want to use the same reader set-up.
