Closing the Home Solutions acquisition
Talkpool AG is now finalizing the acquisition of all shares in Nordic Proptech Investment Services AB, which owns 100% of the shares in Home Solutions www.homesolutions.se
The Nordic Proptech closing accounts (for year 2020) have been provided by the seller and the closing documents are being signed. The total consideration, including down-payment, loan and interest, amounts to SEK 26.4 million (Eur 2.62 million) to the Scandinavian Credit Fund. A down-payment of SEK 8.5 million (Eur 8.43m) from Talkpool to the Scandinavian Credit Fund with a corresponding share transfer to Talkpool has been scheduled on Friday the 5th of March 2021.
Home Solutions’ business of measuring and managing natural resources such as electricity and water in individual homes is expected to gain importance. This is Talkpool’s first acquisition of a smart metering company, and it marks an important strategy shift. Acquisitions of further metering companies and up-selling of sustainable technology as a service to the many existing clients is central to the strategic plan going forward. Talkpool’s technology combined with Home Solution’s 50’000 individual client base form the basis of a growth journey in which residents and property owners will be winners.
