Sacculus acquires 35% of the shares in NPTIS
International investment fund Sacculus acquires 35% of the shares in Nordic Proptech Investment Services AB(NPTIS) and its daughter company Home Solutions from Talkpool AG with the ambition to accelerate the growth of the building digitisation company together with Talkpool.
In close cooperation with Talkpool, Sacculus will actively support the development of Home Solutions smart metering business and the upsell of sustainable building digitisation solutions as a service to existing clients. Talkpool’s technology combined with Home Solution’s client base of over 50’000 individual apartments form the basis of a growth journey in which residents and property owners will be winners.
Sacculus is paying SEK 8,575 million for 35% of the shares in NPTIS. This is corresponding to the net price Talkpool paid for the NPTIS shares. Sacculus introduced Talkpool to this acquisition and has participated in the due diligence process and the initial period after the acquisition. The transaction of SEK 8,575 million from Sacculus to Talkpool with a corresponding share transfer to Sacculus has been scheduled on Tuesday the 30th of March 2021.
The buyer’s first impression after the acquisition has been positive. Home Solution’s staff is competent, the business looks stable with clear possibilities for growth and we’ve started to improve the technology platform to be able to capture more market share and growth.
Home Solutions is a key part of Talkpool’s strategy going forward. In addition to continue the existing business, Talkpool intends to start up-selling sustainable technology to improve indoor air-quality, electricity management and water handling.
