Talkpool recieves large volume order for LoRaWAN water meters

Talkpool has developed and manufactured a series of IoT products that are compatible with B Meters’ mechanical water meters, during 2018, as a result of the long-term partnership between the two companies. Talkpool and B Meters now offer a full range of smart water meters, consisting of single-jet, multi-jet, pulse and industrial water meters. Now, B Meters has placed a first order worth of EUR 95 000 for their water meters.

With its extensive experience in radio and security, Talkpool has been developing several leading LoRaWAN IoT sensor devices over the past years. The smart water meters fit in the company’s strategy to develop wireless sensor devices that are well suited for mass volume deployments. “After a year of product development and pilot project rollouts, the company now faces global mass market interest in its water meter solutions.”, says Stefan Lindgren, CTO of Talkpool.

B Meters has a long track record as a trustworthy water meter manufacturer, with a full range of high quality water meters. “We see an increasing interest among our customer base for connected water meters, we are glad to have found a partner in Talkpool for the development of LoRaWAN single jet water meters.”, says Marco Budai at B Meters.
