Registration is now open for this year’s TCS&D Show, which includes a host of free seminars and workshops designed to give visitors information to help shape their business and increase profit in months and years to come.

Organisers of the free-to-attend event, which is being held on the 16th and 17th of September at the Peterborough Arena, say they have deliberately focused on providing an education-packed programme including valuable insight, case studies and a question and answer session with an expert panel to meet growing demand in the industry.

Exhibition Director Rob Fisher said: “We know professionals are busier than ever in their daily business lives so it is important for us that they get the maximum benefit from a day spent out of the office.

“The programme we have put together includes seminars and interactive workshops and means visitors will be able to take back to the office knowledge and tools which they will be able to quickly apply in their roles to make a difference to their business.”

Topics that will feature in the Seminar Theatre, sponsored by Carrier Transicold, include a focus on F-Gas, with speakers including Sainsbury’s Operations Support Manager Gary King.

Fisher said: “A lot of people have heard of the new F-Gas regulations but very few have done something about it. It’s vital that businesses understand their management and record-keeping obligations as a result of the changes, the timing of the phase-down plan and the alternatives currently available in the marketplace.

“Ultimately, if businesses don’t comply with the regulations there will be hefty fines levied against them, so this is a real call to action. We urge people to come and learn at the show – or else learn the hard way when the inspectors come knocking!”

He added: “Anyone who attends the seminars or workshops will leave the event with valuable, usable ideas and information they can implement in their own business.”

To register for the free event, which has more than 100 exhibitors and is being held in conjunction with the Food Storage & Distribution Federation and the British Food Federation, please visit www.tcsdshow.com. Seminars will be held in a central conference area and will operate on a first-come-first-served basis.
