Nordic Telephone Company commences strategic review of TDC
Nordic Telephone Company commences strategic review of TDC As majority stakeholder Nordic Telephone Company ApS (NTC) has initiated a process with the purpose of evaluating the strategic alternatives for NTC’s 87.9% ownership in TDC A/S. “NTC is very satisfied with the development of our investment in TDC over the last four years. Since our acquisition of the stake in TDC in the beginning of 2006, TDC has developed into being one of the best performing European telecom incumbents with strong prospects going forward. TDC is today the clear market leader in Denmark across all main products and technologies. Furthermore, the goal of focusing the company on the Nordic region, as we set out to do, is now well advanced. We therefore find that timing and condi-tions are right with regards to investigating strategic alternatives for TDC,” says Kurt Björklund of NTC. NTC will not further comment on the strategic review until the review is com-pleted. Contact: Chris Davison, +44 207 632 1132 NTC invested in TDC in late 2005.
