TDC Organisational Changes Highlights Customer Focus

TDC gathers all customer relations for the private market in one strong unit to secure an increased cus-tomer focus for the future.
“In recent years, TDC has undergone an important transition where cost reductions where the main fo-cus. This has resulted in TDC’s best earnings (EBIDTA) to date. We are now ready for the next step in the process with a much increased customer focus,” explains Henrik Poulsen, CEO of TDC and continues:

“To ensure this focus we need an organisation that accommodates the customers’ need for simple and connected solutions across all platforms.”

Therefore TDC is now changing from a technology-based organisation, to an organisation consisting of Private, Business and Operations & Wholesale, which will be responsible for networks, IT, operations and wholesale

This means that the existing business units, Fixnet Nordic and Mobile Nordic. Jesper Theill Eriksen, the acting CEO of TDC Mobile Nordic, will continue as CEO of Private, while Carsten Dilling, acting CEO of TDC Fixnet Nordic, will be CEO of Operations and Operations & Wholesale.

Furthermore, the CEO of Business Nordic, Klaus Pedersen, resigns. As new CEO of Business Nordic and member of TDC's Corporate Management Team the TDC board has appointed Jens Munch-Hansen.

"Klaus Pedersen has made a major contribution to Business Nordic, where he very successfully has strengthen our efficiency and created a continued growth in both EBITDA and cash flow. On the heels of the restructuring, Business Nordic is now ready to step into a new phase, where the market oriented challenges must be met with increased focus. In this context Klaus and I have concluded that a different profile in charge of Business Nordic makes good sense."

The future CEO of Business Nordic, Jens Munch-Hansen, is 53 years old and comes from a position as Vice President of Sales and Business Development North East Europe at IBM. Jens Munch-Hansen has a MSc(Econ.) and has in recent years had a number of executive positions at IBM - i.e. CEO of IBM Nordic 2000-2007.

Klaus Pedersen continues as CEO of Business Nordic until Jens Munch-Hansen takes over March 15th at the latest.
