Mats Lundqvist appointed to manage Song Networks
Mats Lundqvist, currently acting Managing Director of Song Networks Holding AB (publ) (Song), will be appointed with immediate effect to the position of permanent Managing Director to manage Song, with TDC A/S as the new owner.

He has many years' experience in the sector, and as manager of Song's Swedish operation he has helped to turn around a loss-making business in just two years. As Managing Director of Song, Mats Lundqvist is responsible for the business during and after the integration with TDC. His first task will be to appoint a new management team, which is expected to be completed by the end of November. "Song Networks holds a strong position on the data and telecom business market in the Nordic region. With TDC as our owner, we are gaining new strength through an extended infrastructure and greater expertise, which is making us an attractive supplier for really large Nordic corporates as well. Having this opportunity is extremely inspiring," says Mats Lundqvist. Mats Lundqvist was born in 1967 and is has a business degree from the Stockholm School of Economics. He began his career with eight years with McKinsey & Company in Scandinavia. Mats was then appointed Managing Director of Arrowhead, a data operator owned by Vattenfall, which was acquired by Song. During his time with the Song Group, the company has gone from a negative EBITDA result of SEK -33 million during the second quarter of 2002 to a positive EBITDA result of SEK 82 million during the third quarter of 2004.
