Team Olivia divests Magitaskolan and Kajan Friskola
As part of refocusing Team Olivia's operations in resource and special assistance schools, Magitaskolan AB and Kajan Friskola AB have been divested to Aprendere Skolor AB.
Magitaskolan, which operates resources and special assistance school activities in Stockholm and Kajan Friskola, with resources and special assistance school operations in Uppsala, have been part of Team Olivia since 2013.
Aprendere Schools, founded in 2008, currently run ten different units in elementary school, upper secondary school, special assistance upper secondary school and HVB homes. They currently have more than 700 students and about 150 employees. Most of the schools are located in Stockholm and surrounding areas. Aprendere Schools is a member of the Swedish association of independent schools (Friskolornas Riksförbund.)
– Since 2013, Team Olivia has contributed to a positive development of both schools' focus. Our view is that the handover to an established school group will promote their continued development as Aprendere has a solid experience and core competence within this area. Team Olivia's future focus will instead be resource and specialization integrated with housing care, commented Stefan Lahti, Head of Individual & Family, including LSS homes.
