TEAMtalk DELIVERS SMS FOOTBALL SERVICE TO RIM DIGITAL CITY USERS Regional Interactive Media, part of the RIM Group, have signed TEAMtalk, the sports media business to provide a football SMS service on all 134 teams in the UK leagues. TEAMtalk will provide news and scores over all mobile networks for every professional team in the UK. As well as providing the content, TEAMtalk will also manage the delivery of the service to RIM's on-line community. For just £8.50 a month users can subscribe to the service from any of the RIM's ten Digital City web sites, (eg. www.thisisleeds.co.uk) via a co-branded TEAMtalk section. The service will appeal to RIM's regional users as it covers all teams in the Premiership and Nationwide leagues, from Leeds United through to Blackpool. This new agreement is in line with TEAMtalk's strategy to supply quality sports content to large online communities via well respected and highly visited portals. Increasing numbers of major players are recognising the value in TEAMtalk's sports content. TEAMtalk already has content agreements with Yahoo!, AOL and Compuserve.
