TEAMtalk GETS WIRED FOR SPORT TEAMtalk, the sports media group, has strengthened its leading position in sports content provision, with the launch of its new sports wire. The sports wire will launch to 500 media clients on a free trial basis, giving access to TEAMtalk's in-depth and up-to-the-minute news on football, rugby union, rugby league and horse racing. The service will be expanded in the near future to include news on F1, Cricket, Tennis and Golf. Client benefits are two-fold. Firstly they will benefit from the breadth of sports content and the vast quantity of stories generated daily by TEAMtalk's network of over 370 journalists. Secondly, they will benefit from the bespoke nature of feeds available. Clients can tailor the sports wire to their own requirements, by selecting the sports and coverage they want to receive. Clients gain access to the wire from http://wire.teamtalk.com via a personalised user name and password. TEAMtalk believe that through the free month trial, clients will evaluate how beneficial the service is and become subscribed users. Several clients were involved with the development of the service and feedback to date has been extremely positive. Ian Holding, TEAMtalk's Sports Director commented: "The TEAMtalk sports wire has taken many months of planning and development and we are delighted with the result. We believe that we have created a quality service that can be tailored to meet each of our client's needs, taking advantage of a demand in the market. TEAMtalk is now a recognised quality content provider, evident by our portfolio of blue chip clients. I believe that the launch of the sports wire will further stamp TEAMtalk's position in the sports content market".
