Technia, Addnode’s subsidiary and the leading European supplier of solutions for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), has signed an agreement with JM concerning the implementation of Dassault Systèmes’ ENOVIA PLM solution. A key component in the delivery is the usability and productivity enhancing Technia Value Components (TVC). The agreement extends over five years and the PLM solution will serve more than 1500 users when rolled out.

JM is one of the leading developers of housing and residential areas in the Nordic region. Operations focus on new production of homes in attractive locations, with the main focus on expanding metropolitan areas and university towns in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Belgium. The projects are often large and complex, such as the conversion of Liljeholmskajen, Stockholm, into a popular residential area.

“We will start this project in a small scale, but we already see several new areas where we can use PLM in order to make our business even more effective in the future”, says Lennart Henriz, Head of Operations Development (Quality, Environment, IT), at JM.

”The challenges in the Construction industry are very similar to what we see in other industries: A constant search for new ways to reduce time to market, streamline processes, increase revenues and cut costs whilst at the same time meet regulatory demands. These questions are very important and require constant attention and drastic changes – and they can be dealt with effectively trough a smart use of PLM. We have noticed that the construction industry more and more adopts PLM as a strategic business tool.

With our ENOVIA PLM offering in combination with Technia´s expertise, we feel confident that we will help JM to overcome their challenges and contribute to their future success”, says Florian von Tiedemann, Director, Energy & Construction at Technia AB.

“This is a strategic project for us. It confirms the potential of repeating the value creation we bring to other industry segments here as well, and I´m confident we can give JM the competitive advantage we have delivered to our other customers”, says Ylva Berg, CEO and President at Technia.
