Technia and Transcat PLM enter into a Joint Venture, OptimData, for Internet of Things Application Development
Stockholm, March 24, 2015 – Technia, an Addnode Group company, and Transcat PLM announced today that they have entered into a joint venture called OptimData with the aim of supporting the development of industrial Big Data applications. These industrial applications will enable companies to leverage a data-driven and agile approach creating business value and competitive advantages. Technia and Transcat will be distributors of OptimData’s portfolio.
Technia, a leading supplier of Product Lifecycle Management solutions in the Nordics, is investing together with Transcat PLM, a leading German provider of Product Lifecycle Management solutions, into a joint venture called OptimData.
This new type of R&D lab will be focusing on designing and building innovative industrial applications based on Big Data. These applications will enable companies to leverage a data-driven and agile approach for creating business value based on insights from data, and to gain competitive advantage in the era of Internet of Things.
