Technia and VTI Technologies team up to boost innovation power

Technia, a leading European supplier of solutions for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), has signed an agreement with VTI Technologies in Finland, concerning the delivery of ENOVIA PLM Solution from Dassault Systèmes. The objective of the agreement is to enable VTI to significantly improve its ability to bring new innovative products to market. This agreement also signifies Technia’s PLM leadership in Finland, where the company already has world-class customers including Nokia, Andritz, and Metso Paper.

VTI Technologies creates solutions that improve safety and security, health and quality of life. Established in 1991, the company is the world's leading designer and manufacturer of acceleration and pressure sensors. VTI's sensors measure acceleration, motion, shock, vibration, inclination, angular rate and pressure. The application areas of VTI solutions range from the automotive industry to a wide range of other industries like sports & wellness, medical & instruments and handheld terminal applications where measuring needs are gaining importance.

With the ENOVIA PLM Solutions and the Professional Services of Technia Oy, VTI Technologies will build a collaboration platform where the company's product-related information is put into a centralized repository to be used across the organization, from Research and Development to Production of their sensor products offering. The solutions will enable VTI Technologies to boost innovation capabilities leading to an improved product offering.
