BIRDSTEP SELECTS BHARAT SRINIVASAN TO SPEARHEAD ASIA PACIFIC BUSINESS GROWTH
Birdstep Technology (www.birdstep.com), a leading provider of Smart Mobile Data solutions, has chosen industry veteran, Bharat Srinivasan to spearhead the Company’s expansion across Asia Pacific – the world’s largest mobile region.[1]
Bharat has over 18 years’ experience in senior positions in the telecommunications and data networking industry with major players including: Lucent Technologies; Ascend Communications; Stratus Computer; Siebel Systems and edocs Inc, Most recently he successfully established the mobile intelligence software company Carrier IQ Inc. in the Asia Pacific region.

A post-graduate with Honors in Economics from BITS Pilani, Bharat has more than 30 years’ experience in diverse technology solutions, of which the last 18 years have been focused on the telecommunications and the networking industry. His initial career involved a sustained stint with Citicorp’s software subsidiary focused on the Financial Services industry where Bharat was one of the key architects of a highly successful integrated banking solution.
A veteran and sometimes beneficiary of numerous mergers and acquisitions, Bharat is passionate about helping companies successfully negotiate their major growth phase and bringing value during the formative period.
