Techstep has enhanced its long-standing relationship with DNB Bank ASA (DNB) by signing a new managed services agreement for the deployment of Techstep’s own developed cloud-based mobility software solution SmartControl to DNB’s 9,000 employees.

Through this, DNB will achieve complete administrative control of all its deployed mobile hardware, including Asset Management and Mobile Expense Management. In addition, SmartControl will provide DNB’s employees with self-service for support and cost control management related to the use of mobile phones at work, which in turn will reduce complexity for DNB.

The new agreement is signed in addition to Techstep’s current agreement for supply of mobile devices to DNB, and Techstep will deliver new mobile devices going forward as part of its SmartDevice offering.

“We look forward to assisting DNB and their employees in simplifying and streamlining the management of mobile hardware throughout its entire lifecycle, reducing administrative complexity and cost, as well as improving sustainability” said Techstep CEO, Børge Astrup.

The contract duration is two years, with a significant share of recurring revenues, primarily driven by SmartDevice, and secondly by SmartControl.
