TECHSTEP APPOINTS INGE PAULSEN AS COO

Techstep continues to grow and strengthens its corporate management team by appointing Inge Paulsen as the company’s Chief Operating Officer (COO).

During the last six months, Techstep has made several acquisitions to establish itself as a leading enabler of the digital workplace in the Nordics. By combining our existing business with the new acquisitions, we have increased our end-user base from 220,000 to 450,000. Now we must focus on integrating the companies and bring out synergies to offer a complete solution for making the work life mobile for our customers. Inge brings with him experience from business development and change management and will be an important resource going forward” says CEO Gaute Engbakk in Techstep ASA.

Mr. Paulsen is an experienced executive manager with a proven track record from heading strategic business development projects in venture businesses and corporate turnarounds from companies such as Clear Channel, Eltel Networks/Sønnico Tele, Infratek/Hafslund, Implement (formerly known as MarkUp Consulting) and Accenture. Mr. Paulsen holds a MSc in Business Management (Siviløkonom) from Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH). He is also graduated from The Royal Norwegian Air Force Academy.

Mr. Paulsen will as COO be responsible for managing the integration processes of the acquired companies, as well as building Techstep’s “hub” to ensure integration between the various companies in the group. In addition, he will assist in further developing new and existing business areas, head tender- and delivery projects, and be responsible for implementing Techstep’s strategy into all parts of the organization.
