Techstep has, together with Telenor, been awarded a five-year framework agreement with the Norwegian state-owned railway infrastructure company Bane NOR. Under the agreement, Techstep and Telenor will deliver an ongoing mobile solution to Bane NOR and the company’s 4,400 employees. The solution comprises mobile phones and related equipment, handling of Telenor-subscriptions and services, software for telecom expense management, as well as operations services and support for Bane NOR and its users.

«We appreciate that Bane NOR choose to move its procurement, set up and mobile device management to Techstep. Bane NOR is a key player in the Norwegian society and places high standards of control, quality and safety. We look forward to enable Bane NOR to let their employees do their work across mobile devices and locations with a high degree of security and operational stability», says CEO Jens Haviken in Techstep.

Techstep and Telenor were chosen as preferred suppliers due to their combined ability to deliver a comprehensive, easy and cost-effective solution for handling the mobile park of Bane NOR.

Telenor, which is the contracting party, will be the mobile operator, while Techstep is the operational responsible reseller.

«Techstep is currently experiencing high sales activity. This strategically important agreement is based on our core products, and it is good that the market responds positively to our new, complete solutions», says CEO Jens Haviken in Techstep.

For Techstep, the framework agreement has an estimated total value of up to NOK 50 million over five years. In addition, the agreement includes options for three years extension with annual renewal.
