The Techstep ASA subsidiary Nordialog Oslo has, through an agreement with Kjedehuset, been chosen to supply the Norwegian Tax Administration with mobile phones, tablet devices, conference phones and related equipment, as well as advisory services and support. The framework agreement has an estimated value of NOK 20 million.

The Norwegian Tax Administration has approx. 6,500 employees, and is organised with the Directorate of Taxes as head office, and five regional divisions ; North, Mid-Norway, West, South, and East. The government agency recently announced a tender comprising the delivery of mobile phones, tablet devices, conference phones and related equipment, as well as a recycling scheme, and services related to repairs and distribution to the agency’s office locations.

Following a comprehensive tendering process, the framework agreement was awarded Kjedehuset, one of Norway’s largest ICT groups, which provides i.a. IT and telecom solutions for large enterprises through the nationwide Nordialog franchise. The agreement has a one-year duration, with options to renew for three one-year periods.

Nordialog Oslo, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Techstep, is the operative responsible retailer. The large scope of the agreement and the nationwide geographical distribution of the tax offices, means that other parts of the Kjedehuset value chain will also be involved, such as distribution, environmental recycling, and repairs, through the subsidiaries Telefast and Conmodo.
