  • Techstep has through its subsidiary Nordialog Oslo recently been awarded three new key contracts in Norway
  • NSB, the Norwegian government-owned transportation company, has awarded Nordialog Oslo an agreement for the delivery of Techstep’s “Mobile-as-a-Service” (MaaS) solution
  • Nordialog Oslo has also been awarded framework agreements for the delivery of mobile phones and related equipment to Østfold Municipality and BTV, the regional procurement organisation for Buskerud, Telemark and Vestfold municipalities

The estimated total value of the three contracts, excluding options for renewal, over the two to three-year period they cover is NOK 68 million.

“Techstep experiences a positive momentum with high sales activity and several contracts being awarded lately. The contracts we announce today are important to Techstep both strategically and financially because we sell our core offerings to new and existing customers and because we grow our end-user and potential recurring revenue base”, says CEO Gaute Engbakk in Techstep.

The “Mobile as a Service” (MaaS) agreement with NSB’s subsidiary Nettbuss
NSB, the Norwegian government-owned transportation company, has awarded Nordialog Oslo an agreement for the delivery of the “Mobile as a Service” (MaaS) solution to its subsidiary Nettbuss, the largest bus company in Norway and one of the largest in Scandinavia with a fleet of about 3,300 buses.

The MaaS solution combines hardware, subscription and connectivity, mobile device management, managed services and related software and enables Nettbuss to let employees do their work across mobile devices and locations, with a high degree of security and operational stability.

The new agreement with NSB covers the delivery and management of tablets- for Nettbuss employees. An estimated number of 750 tablets will be delivered in 2018 and up to 3,350 tablets in total by the end of 2019. The agreement, which is subscription based and billed monthly, has a three-year duration, and includes options for two years extension with annual renewal. Total value over the first three years is estimated to NOK 30 million. Closing date for submission of complaints is 3 April 2018, after which a formal signing will take place.

“We are very pleased that NSB and Nettbuss have chosen Techstep as a supplier of digitalisation solutions for its bus drivers, a group of highly mobile employees. Being a public transportation company, they also have strict requirements when it comes to the quality, stability and cost efficiency of our solutions and services. We look forward to deliver on that”, says CEO Gaute Engbakk in Techstep.

The municipality agreements
Techstep’s subsidiary Nordialog Oslo has further won two large framework agreements with Østfold Municipality and BTV Innkjøp, a regional procurement organisation for Buskerud, Telemark and Vestfold Municipalities. Both are two-year agreements, and comprise the delivery of mobile phones and related equipment to employees working for the municipalities.

The agreement with Østfold Municipality has an estimated value of NOK 12 million. The agreement with BTV has an estimated value of NOK 24 million, and will be signed shortly after the closing date for submission of complaints, which is due 11 April 2018. In addition, both agreements have options for two years extension with annual renewals.

“Techstep has over the past two years increased its public tender activities, and the new agreements come as a result of these efforts“, concludes CEO Gaute Engbakk in Techstep.
