TECNOMEN DELIVERS UNIFIED MESSAGING SYSTEM TO LEBANESE FTML Tecnomen Corporation has delivered a unified messaging system to FTML Services Cellulaire Liban in Lebanon. The delivery includes Internet messaging, Text-to-Speech and Speech Recognition for 50 000 subscribers. The system has recently been taken into commercial use. The value of the whole turnkey system delivery is approximately MEUR 1.1. Lebanon is one of the first countries in the Middle East to open up competition in telecommunications. The Lebanese mobile markets are growing fast and the penetration rate is now over 18%. FTML, established in 1996, is Lebanon's leading mobile operator.
