Tecnomen delivers eur 8,0 million messaging order in Malaysia

TECNOMEN DELIVERS EUR 8,0 MILLION MESSAGING ORDER IN MALAYSIA Tecnomen Corporation has received a Messaging order worth approximately EUR 8,0 million from Celcom, the largest mobile phone operator in Malaysia. Tecnomen is expanding the operator's voice mail system with fax and e-mail services. The order will be delivered during the ongoing and next year. As well as providing new services, Tecnomen is also expanding the capacity of the operator's messaging system. With this order Celcom is responding to the rapid growth in both the number of users of mobile phone and Internet services, and in their requirements. "This order enables us to achieve our financial targets for this year, and creates a good basis for the beginning of the year 2001", president and CEO Vesa Helkkula from Tecnomen Corporation says. Tecnomen develops and markets telecommunications systems for telecom- operators and service providers around the world.
