Tecnomen wins Fim 15 million unified messaging order in Denmark

TECNOMEN WINS FIM 15 MILLION UNIFIED MESSAGING ORDER IN DENMARK Tecnomen Corp. has received a FIM 15 million order for Unified Messaging system from the Danish mobile phone operator TeleDanmark. TeleDanmark is a mobile phone operator that has won international awards for its value- added services; its messaging services are considered some of the most innovative in the world. TeleDanmark provides a wide range of messaging services at present to more than 2.5 million users. The new expansion will meet the operator's needs caused by its rapid growth. Tecnomen is expanding the subscriber capacity of the operator's messaging system by a million users. Tecnomen Corp.'s previous expansion for TeleDanmark's messaging system was an FIM eight million delivery in the summer. Tecnomen develops and markets data communication systems to teleoperators and service providers worldwide. The company's product range comprises communication systems and wireless Internet solutions as well as prepaid and paging systems. Tecnomen operates in 13 locations worldwide. Systems developed by the company have been delivered into more than 50 countries. Tecnomen's net sales in 1999 totalled FIM 300 million and the company employs some 500 persons. Tecnomen is listed at the Helsinki Exchanges and operates as a part of the Kyro technologies group.
