Tecnomen receives Prepaid expansion order from América Móvil's subsidiary in Guatemala

TECNOMEN RECEIVES PREPAID EXPANSION ORDER FROM AMÉRICA MÓVIL'S SUBSIDIARY IN GUATEMALA PCS Digital Guatemala, a subsidiary of América Móvil, has awarded a Prepaid System expansion contract to Tecnomen. PCS Digital Guatemala has been using Tecnomen's Prepaid System in CDMA, GSM and also for Telgua fixed networks since 2003. "This expansion will increase the capacity and functionality of PCS Digital´s Prepaid System and allows deployment of new services to their growing customer base", says Mr Oscar Fernandez, Managing Director, Tecnomen Latin America. "The expansion strengthens Tecnomen´s position in Central America, where telecommunications is experiencing significant development. Market is growing strongly and new services are being introduced to mobile phone users."
