15 September 2005 at 10.20 am TECNOMEN RECEIVES USD 2.6 MILLION PREPAID EXPANSION ORDER FROM PCS DIGITAL GUATEMALA PCS Digital Guatemala, has awarded a Prepaid System expansion contract to Tecnomen. PCS Digital Guatemala has been using Tecnomen's Prepaid System in CDMA, GSM and also for Telgua fixed networks since 2003. "This expansion will provide PCS Digital the needed capacity to support their continuous subscriber growth. In Guatemala the cellular market has grown 50% yearly and such growth is expected to continue or even accelerate in the future", says Mr Oscar Fernandez, Managing Director, Tecnomen Latin America. "Central America is experiencing significant development in telecommunications and there are currently more coverage and services available."
