TECNOMEN SECURES A NEW CUSTOMER IN HONDURAS

Aló-Megatel, a subsidiary of América Móvil in Honduras, has chosen Tecnomen to
supply its prepaid system. Delivery is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2004.

Since its debut in November 2003, Aló-Megatel has signed up more than 150,000
wireless subscribers in Honduras. Aló-Megatel estimates its potential market in
Honduras at 1 million subscribers. They plan to offer third-generation (3G)
services comprising video, voice and data products.

"Honduras has been experiencing significant development in the telecommunications
sector after the end of a seven year monopoly within the industry. Delivering
high quality services quickly and easily is crucial for our success. We already
offer a wide variety of services that have not previously been available to
customers in Honduras," says Mr David Ibarra, CEO Amex Honduras-Nicaragua.
"Tecnomen's prepaid expertise and understanding of the Latin American marketplace
will provide vital support to us in gaining a solid presence throughout the
country."

"This deal is important to both Tecnomen and Aló-Megatel. For Tecnomen, it
demonstrates that operators see our solution as being of the highest quality,"
says Mr Oscar Fernandez, Managing Director, Tecnomen Latin America. "For Aló-
Megatel's subscribers, this prepaid system will provide a great range of choice
in terms of tariffing plans and service, as well as the flexibility of easy
roaming. With customers in four countries in Central America [Guatemala,
Nicaragua, El Salvador and Honduras], this deal with Aló-Megatel expands our
already strong presence in the region."

With the help of the feature-rich Tecnomen Prepaid platform, Aló-Megatel can
selectively group and target services to meet the needs of their specific market
segments. Tecnomen Prepaid does not impose any restrictions irrespective of SIM
card or handset type and simultaneously supports different protocols, including
TDMA, GSM and CDMA. It supports SMS charging and roaming, allowing subscribers to
benefit from a prepaid service whilst travelling abroad.

About Aló-Megatel
A seven year monopoly in the Honduras telecommunications market ended in 2003. In
April of that year, the Honduras government put a 25 year license for personal
communications services up for sale. Megatel (a Swedish-Honduran consortium)
submitted the winning bid. They started operations late that year. In the
beginning of July 2004 América Móvil entered the Honduran mobile market by
acquiring 100 per cent of Megatel.
