TECNOMEN TO DELIVER MESSAGING SYSTEM TO MTC-VODAFONE IN BAHRAIN

Tecnomen has been selected by Siemens Mobile Networks to deliver a new
messaging system to MTC-Vodafone (MTC-V), new and second GSM network
operator in Bahrain. Under the contract, Tecnomen is to supply a voice
mail system and a unified messaging system.

This latest messaging system will provide such messaging features as
unified messaging, wireless email, several voice mail services and an
integrated SMSC. It will also feature an email reader to allow
subscribers to listen to their emails; and Tecnomen Greeting Centre
which supports subscribers in managing and personalising multiple
voicemail greetings.

Tecnomen has a long history and strong position in the Middle Eastern
market. Tecnomen and the MTC Group of Companies have worked together
since 1996, when Tecnomen first supplied a messaging system to MTC in
Kuwait. Tecnomen’s co-operation with the company has continued for
several years, following the development of the latest messaging
technologies. Increased competition for subscribers means that
operators must be able to provide new and innovative services to their
customers.

"Tecnomen has built a solid reputation upon its vast experience in the
development and delivery of messaging systems," says Mr. Essam Zainal,
Value-Added Services Manager, MTC-Vodafone (Bahrain). "Tecnomen is
able to provide us with a system that matches all of our
specifications. With Tecnomen’s advanced messaging, MTC Vodafone’s
customers in Bahrain will be able to benefit further from the
additional features which will make communicating easier, meet market
requirements and fulfil our customers’ needs. This in turn will enable
us to increase our competitive advantage and attract new customers."

"This new contract affirms and strengthens our co-operation with
Siemens Mobile Networks which is based on the successful customer
projects we have delivered together. An essential element is
Tecnomen’s local expertise and ability to offer domestic services,"
says Matti Kakko, Director, Tecnomen Middle East and Africa.

Tecnomen Messaging is a modular service solution that addresses all
aspects of today's messaging needs and provides a solid framework for
meeting future needs with the most advanced technology available. With
Tecnomen Messaging, operators and service providers can build suitable
