TECNOMEN VIDEO MAIL EXTENDS TRADITIONAL VOICE MAIL TO THE WORLD OF 3G

Tecnomen and Nokia announced today a cooperation agreement aimed at
promoting video mail services to the 3G telecoms market. According to
this agreement for co-marketing, Nokia and Tecnomen will ensure the
compatibility of Tecnomen's Video Mail solution and Nokia's 3G Core
system.

"Our close relationship with Nokia allows us to benefit from their
marketing expertise and global sales channels," says Petri Nordlund,
Director, Sales and Customer Operations, Tecnomen. "Our adherence to
open standards-based technology creates a risk-free investment
opportunity for operators. This flexibility is key to ensuring
interoperability and mass market potential for video mail without
large migration costs."

The basic functionality of Tecnomen Video Mail is quite similar to
traditional voice mail. Unanswered calls are forwarded to the video
mail service. Callers will see subscribers’ personalised video
greeting and can leave video messages. Subscribers are notified of
messages and can view them via their 3G terminal at a convenient time.
Advanced services and capabilities, such as personalisation, further
enhance the usability of Video Mail beyond that of traditional
messaging.
