Song Networks AB receives an order from Arkitektkopia worth MSEK 15 Tele1 Europe Holding AB's (which is in the process of changing its name to Song Networks Holding AB) (NASDAQ: TEUR, OM Stockholm Stock Exchange: TEUR) wholly-owned subsidiary company Song Networks AB has signed an agreement with Arkitektkopia AB. The agreement means that Song Networks will deliver a IP-VPN connection to all the offices of the Arkitektkopia Group in Sweden, a fixed Internet connection of at least 10 Mbit/s, and a centralised firewall. The agreement also provides the opportunity for users to connect to their office from home via the IP-VPN facility. The value of the order is around MSEK 15 and will run over three years. The agreement means that Song Networks will initially install 37 IP-VPN sites for the Arkitektkopia Group throughout Sweden. "Song Networks is the operator which is best able to deliver the solution that we need. Song's IP-VPN solution also provides us with a very advantageous means of connecting all our offices, both with improved broadband width compared to what we had before and with a higher degree of flexibility. And also at a very good price", says Håkan Lenneryd, IT-Manager at Arkitektkopia. "Our new contract demonstrates that we are becoming a leading operator for total solutions within datacommunication to corporate customers in the Nordic region, which feels really good. The deal with the Arkitektkopia Group is also a shining example that the take-over of Sonera's Swedish operations is bearing fruit, illustrated here by the fact that we are improving an earlier solution for one of Sonera's previous customers into a better and more modern IP-VPN solution", comments Pelle Hjortblad, CEO of Song Networks AB. Songs Network's IP-VPN service involves connecting company data networks, on a local level or across the whole of the Nordic region. The service is based on the Multi Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) technology which has been implemented in Song's fibre optic network. The service provides almost unlimited capacity with a very high level of security in the network.
