Tele1 Europe chooses Teligent's telephony platform Tele1 Europe Holding AB has chosen Teligent AB to supply the telephony platform for the current expansion and development of its value added services for intelligent telephony. Teligent was superior in terms of meeting our requirements for a flexible telephony platform with development potential. We know that our customers require services that add value to the traditional telephony services we provide, but we also see expectations for new network based services increasing over time, says Ivar Strömberg, Chief Executive Officer of Tele1 Europe Holding AB. Tele1 Europe has strengthened its competitive position by offering value- added services and is already offering its Nordic business customers the opportunity to read mail, listen to voice messages and read incoming faxes via a single web interface. Together with Teligent, Tele1 Europe has positioned itself to develop new, unique and more advanced services. - The opportunities are limited only by our imagination, says Ulf Lindstén, Managing Director and CEO at Teligent. Tele1 Europe expects the platform to be installed and ready by the beginning of April this year.
