Com Hem signs five-year agreement with K-Fastigheter
Through its Parent Company Karlsson Equity Holding, K-Fastigheter has signed an exclusive five-year framework agreement with Com Hem regarding future new production projects.
Under the agreement, the new rental units built mainly in the Öresund and Stockholm regions will be connected to Com Hem’s hybrid fibre coaxial network.
“Our goal is to build at least 2,500 apartments across Sweden by 2016. In our aim to give tenants access to fast, stable and user-friendly broadband, Com Hem is a natural partner,” says Jacob Karlsson, CEO and managing partner of Karlsson Equity Holding.
Some 200 apartments were connected in 2015, and about 500 apartments will be connected in Malmö, Helsingborg and Kristianstad during 2016.
“We see a need for different types of infrastructure solutions for our customers. In this case, K-Fastigheter chose hybrid fibre coaxial. Not only is our network the fastest in the Nordic region, according to both Netflix and Google, our TiVo TV service offers the largest selection of channels and functionality in Sweden,” says Stefan Trampus, Director of Sales at Com Hem.
