Teleca and Telenor present BPM success story at TeleManagement World
Teleca has successfully helped Telenor in Norway to implement a new business process management (BPM) system called Spider. The solution has enabled Telenor to handle increased volume of orders (+400%) with 30% fewer employee resources.
As a systems integrator, Teleca has helped Telenor to implement an IT system that supports the new network infrastructure rollout organisation. The approach is based on the idea of a portfolio of standardised infrastructure products and automated business processes supporting all types of infrastructure networks – IP, mobile, fixed and cable TV – in a convergent way. The IT system is realised using an application framework for business process management with support for reusable process components. The system is called Spider and has enabled Telenor to handle increased volume of orders (+400%) with 30% fewer employee resources.
