The GENIVI Alliance is a global industry consortium of automotive, consumer electronics, and communication companies committed to driving the broad adoption of an In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) open source development platform. The Alliance provides reference implementations, offering certification programs and fosters a vibrant open source IVI development community. The work of the Alliance aims to shorten development cycles, provide quicker time-to-market and reduced costs for companies developing IVI equipment and software.
