Teleca opens new office in Germany

Teleca has opened a new office in Bochum, Germany, to meet demand from customers and strengthen its position in Mobile Devices. The office has been operational since 1 June 2005 with a staff of about 30 people specialised in application frameworks, multimedia and gaming applications, DRM and UI/MMI design for mobile devices, and automotive solutions.

Bochum, in North Rhine-Westphalia, is situated in one of the most important regions of German industry and the region with the highest operator density in Europe. Teleca’s new team will expand the business in this area as well as provide mobile device expertise worldwide. The core team has gained its experiences also by working for a global player in the mobile communications industry. Teleca expects the office to be profitable from the start.
