Teleca Russia has received its first project with a Russian mobile operator
Teleca develop applications for one of the largest Russian mobile operators - MegaFon

Teleca, a global supplier of embedded software solutions for the consumer electronics, automotive and mobile industries, today announced it has successfully finished the first mobile application project for MegaFon on the Android and iPhone platforms.
The project developed during November and December, 2010 with the goal to provide MegaFon subscribers an easy way of accessing information on operator services by means of new applications on the platforms Android and iPhone.
The basic functions of the application are to provide the subscriber with simple and convenient access to operator service and content information. The application gives the subscriber the possibility to access compelling services offered by MegaFon, and provides enhanced convenience by using local positioning of the mobile device either using GPS or the base stations position. Thus the user only receives the information applicable for the locally available services in a given area.
“One of the base working principles for "MegaFon”, is orientation towards requirements and interests of our subscribers. We suggest to the users of the new service "MegaOffices" to place all service offices of the Central region on the hands of our subscribers. The application excels not only in functionality and simplicity, but also in the convenient interface. As a matter of fact, it is through the search being easy and quick, our subscribers can find the nearest service of the company” says Andrey Eremkin, Director of the Central branch of Open Society at MegaFon.
