Teleca's shareholding in Pronyx amounts to 94.7 per cent

Teleca's shareholding in Pronyx amounts to 94.7 per cent Teleca AB's ("Teleca") public offer to the holders of shares and convertible debentures issued by Pronyx AB (publ) ("Pronyx") has, following the end of the extended acceptance period on September 20, 2002, finally been accepted to such extent that Teleca has become owner of 94.7 per cent of the shares in Pronyx. After full conversion of the convertible debentures issued, Teleca's holding amounts to 95.0 per cent of the shares in Pronyx. With regard to acceptances received during the ordinary acceptance period, the share alternative has been chosen to such an extent that 10,402 new shares of series B in Teleca will be issued. For the remaining shares cash will be paid out. As previously announced, settlement is expected to begin on October 7, 2002, for those who have accepted the offer during the extended acceptance period. Teleca intends to initiate a compulsory acquisition of the outstanding shares in Pronyx shortly.
